Filtration performance:
The Coldstream Sentry Filter (CF115W) has been tested to NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 and partially P231, with proven results for bacteria and cyst reduction.
It has not been tested for virus reduction, however, and therefore cannot be considered compliant with the entire NSF P231 standard. It has been tested by the independent laboratory Envirotek Inc. The results show a high efficiency in reducing the following contaminants:
Bacteria : 99.9999% reduction of Klebsiella terrigena up to 4,500 liters filtered
Cysts : 99.9% reduction in Cryptosporidium spp. up to 4,500 litres filtered
Use and Care
Compatibility : Designed for over- or under-sink filtration systems
Maintenance : The filter should be checked and cleaned every few weeks according to the manufacturer's instructions
Replacement : Recommended every 6 months to maintain optimal performance
