Pure Filters cares a lot about your privacy. That's why we only process the data we need to improve our services and we carefully handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services. The start date of validity of this Privacy Policy is May 20, 2020. The validity of all previous versions expires with the release of a new version. Personal data processed

Customer Management and Billing : Our customers' data is stored in the CRM of our online shop software (NEO) and is only used for administrative purposes.

Email : We use MailChimp's servers for our email services. All email traffic is confidential and is not visible to the processor. We send our newsletters by email with MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically through our website, you will see the unsubscribe link. If you click on this link, you will no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that clearly indicate whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data for the improvement of the services and to share it with third parties.

Web Hosting & Database : Pure Filters uses NUCLEO's services to host the site. NUCLEO processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. It is not personal data. NUCLEO has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorised use of your personal data.

General purpose of the processing

We only use your data for the purposes of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the task you provide. We do not use your data for targeted marketing purposes. If you share information with us and we use that information to contact you at a later date – other than at your request – we will explicitly ask for your permission to do so. In special cases, we ask you for a copy of your identity card. This is only necessary when it comes to cash payments from €15,000. In the case of cash payments for goods over €15,000, we also have to carry out a customer survey. We only use this information for the purposes of our services.

Nucleo : Our online store was developed with Neo software. The personal data you make available to us to benefit from our services will be shared with this party. Nucleo has access to your data to provide us with technical support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Nucleo is required to take appropriate security measures based on the agreement we have with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption, a safe password policy, and secure data storage. Nucleo reserves the right to share the data collected within its own group and with its affiliate partners in order to further improve the service. Neo takes into account the applicable legal retention periods for personal data.

Google Analytics : Through our website, cookies are placed by the American company Google as part of the "Analytics" service. We use this service to track and obtain reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be required to provide access to this data on the basis of applicable laws and regulations. Mypos : We use the MyPos platform to process part of the payments in our online store. Mollie processes your name, address and home details as well as your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mypos has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Mypos reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share anonymized data with third parties. All of the above-mentioned guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mypos' services for which it uses third parties. Mypos does not store your data for longer than in the field.

PostLU Shipping & Logistics: If you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use PostLU's services to make deliveries. It is therefore necessary for us to share your name, address and residential contact details with PostLU, PostLU only uses this information for the performance of the contract. If PostLU authorises processors, PostLU will also make your data available to these parties.

Invoicing and accounting : We use the services of an independent accounting firm to monitor our administration and accounting. We share your name, address, and home contact information regarding your order. This data is used for the management of sales invoices. Your personal data is sent and stored in a protected manner. Our accountant is bound by professional secrecy and treats your data confidentially. The latter does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

Data collected automatically : The data collected automatically by our website is processed for the purpose of further improving our services. This information (e.g. your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal data.

Participation in tax and criminal investigations : Pure Filters may be required by law to share your information in connection with government tax or criminal investigations. In this event, we are obliged to share your data, but we will oppose this to the extent that the law provides us.

Retention periods : We keep your data for as long as you have an account with us. This means that we keep your customer profile until you tell us that you no longer want to use our services or delete your account. If you tell us, we will also consider it a request to be forgotten.
